The Rock Band experience just keeps getting better and better. Unlike some games, which get stale after a few weeks, Rock Band has remained constantly fresh and fun, taking their already-fantastic game to the next level with constant weekly downloadable content. As if that wasn’t good enough, Joystiq reports that Harmonix is planning to launch the Rock Band music store this week.

The music store will be a fully integrated shop allowing gamers to preview and purchase DLC tracks within the game, as well as organizing them by artist, genre, difficulty, and year of release. The store also serves to remind us that full album downloads are on the way, which I have been waiting anxiously for since the game launched last November. With over 6 million songs downloaded already, it’s safe to say that Rock Band will not be stopping anytime soon. You see, Guitar Hero? This is what DLC is supposed to be like. Rock Band, you have truly gone above and beyond all expectations. You also know how to empty my wallet like no other game.
