I know that, like me, a lot of you can’t even think past the late April release of Grand Theft Auto IV, but just keep in mind that by the end of summer, you’ll probably have played it all out already. Oh no! What to do then? Well, you could always pick up Saints Row 2.



The sequel to Saints Row, the highly enjoyable GTA clone, has finally gotten an official release date. THQ announced yesterday that Saints Row 2 will be hitting the PS3 and 360 August 26. Word from GameStop is that that’s actually a ship date, and the game should be in stores August 27, along with a snazzy collector’s edition. Let’s just hope it’s not quite as chock full of bugs as the first game was. In the meantime, enjoy this new teaser.
