Scribblenauts was probably the most talked-about handheld game of E3, with many members of the press becoming charmed, amused, and surprised at the number and variety of nouns available to throw into the gameplay. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has finally given the ambitious game a North American release date, and I'm pleased to say that it will be in stores September 15, which is not much longer to have to wait.

I got a chance to check out Scribblenauts at E3, and like many others I walked away laughing about the things I put in the game (a zombie and a lolcat? Priceless!) and regretting the words I had't tried. Luckily it won't be long before I can try again. In the meantime, I'll be studying the dictionary in preparation.
