Secret Agent Clank Gets Official Release Date

Because the Other One Was So Unofficial

by Sarah

Fans of the long-running Ratchet and Clank series who happen to own a PSP will soon have something to be happy about: the next game in the series, Secret Agent Clank, has been given a release date. According to the Official PlayStation Blog, the metallic secret agent will be shipping to stores on June 17. Though GameStop has had that date listed for a few weeks, I guess now that it's coming from Sony, we can really mark it on our calendars.

This will be the second handheld game in the series, as Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters released last year to generally positive reviews. Hopefully Secret Agent Clank will be able to keep the fun factor despite the notable absence of Ratchet. As of right now, this game is a PSP exclusive, but given that Size Matters recently got a PS2 port, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Secret Agent Clank get the same treatment someday. Either way, be on the lookout for this adorable little robot.
