Splinter Cell: Conviction Gets New Release Date

Stealthing into Stores February 23

by Sarah

February is becoming an increasingly crowded month for video game releases, and it just got even busier. The long-awaited next game in the Splinter Cell series, Splinter Cell: Conviction, has gotten an official street date of February 23. After being pushed from its holiday season 2009 date into 2010, it was unsure how much longer gamers would have to wait before experiencing Sam Fisher's next challenge. Coming out at the end of February should give you just enough time with BioShock 2 before you're ready for something new.

I got a look at Conviction at E3 in June and at an Ubisoft event in New York later in the summer, and my impressions remained the same: the game is looking really good. It takes a lot to get me interested in a stealth game, but this one looks really interesting. I'm definitely looking forward to spending time with the complete product.
