Square Enix Countdown Site Counting Down
Tick Tock, Tick Tock...

Okay, you know what? I’ve had about enough of goddamn countdown clock websites teasing us. They get our hopes up and end up being disappointing about 90% of the time. So why am I still reporting about them? Because this particular countdown is brought to us by Square Enix, and I’m hoping that it is going to be something awesome and Final Fantasy-related. It’s more likely related to the trademark Squenix filed earlier this month for The Four Warriors of Light, which does sound like it could be any of the early FF games.
If you want to see a whole bunch of nothing, go ahead and hit the site. There’s some simple art, a number, and a countdown, which should end in 9 and a half days, give or take. That puts the big reveal on July 5 or 6. Who’s excited?

I'm thinking its the original FF coming to America on the PSN. That's my guess. Mark it down.
The Four Warriors of Light thing does sound like it could be related to the first FF, but that game has already been re-released for the PS1, GBA, PSP, and is supposedly coming to the Virtual Console... hmmm. Actually, perhaps it's counting down to the Virtual Console, since it may end on a Monday. That'd still be kind of lame, but countdowns are usually a lot of hype over nothing.
I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that this countdown is just a prelude to six or seven more countdowns.
@Coop, yeah those Mega Man games coming to NA PSN would be nice to...
