I've seen some good holiday sales before, but this one just might take the cake. This morning, I woke up to half my Twitter friends going crazy over some Steam is having a massive holiday sale. I checked out the website, and found out that a good amount of their downloadable titles are available for cheapsies--some as much as 80% off. There are literally too many discounted games to list here, but I can at least point out some highlights. Mirror's Edge is $4.99, Braid is two bucks, everything Atari (including Ghostbusters) is 66% off, and you can get the entire Telltale collection, including both seasons of Sam & Max and every episode of Tales of Monkey Island, for $49.99. Damn. That is a good deal.

If Steam worked on a Mac, I wouldn't even be writing this right now--I'd be downloading the hell out of some games. If you use Steam, I can pretty much guarantee there's something for you in this sale, so you might want to go check it out. You can also gift Steam games, don't forget, and with only two shopping days left until Christmas (including today), you may find the perfect last-minute present. The sale ends on January 3, but some of the deals are only available for the next day or so. Get buying!
