Studios Dying For BioShock Movie
Let's Hope it Doesn't Fall into Uwe Boll's Hands
by Sarah
As we all know, BioShock was one of the best things to come out of 2007. At a time when shooters were starting to get very stale, it blew gamers away with an intriguing story and a breathtaking environment. Naturally, the move from console to big screen is definitely a potential, but there’s been no word yet on any BioShock film in the works.
According to Take Two, this is not because of a lack of interest; apparently, they have been swamped with requests from studios wanting to buy up the rights to the game and adapt it into a movie. However, none of them have been quite right. Let’s hope that Take Two won’t give away the rights until someone can come up with a script that does the movie justice. The last thing I want to see is such a wonderful game made into a Razzie-worthy movie.

i'd like to see the movie when it comes out.
It's possible for this to be a good movie, but hollywood will most likely end up screwing it up. (i feel like i've said this before...)
I would love to see this movie if done right
I think it could be done without too much of a hassle. The game's script would be an easy conversion seeing as there is about 2 hours worth of cinema-quality storytelling in the game.
