I think I've mentioned this once or twice before, but I am really looking forward to Super Mario Galaxy 2. The latest gameplay video doesn't show off any new power-ups or abilities, but it does highlight Luigi as a playable character in the game. Mario's brother is often left out of the spotlight, when in reality he's just as capable of turning into a bee, bouncing off walls, or navigating any given planet's gravitational pull while avoiding hazards. Finally, Luigi gets some love from Nintendo.

There are now less than three weeks until SMG2 finally launches, and even though it comes out the same day as the Lost season finale, I'm going to have to set aside an hour or two earlier in the day for what I hope will be a fantastic 3D platformer. It seems to have every bit as much charm and fun as its predecessor, with even more to do, so I'm definitely optimistic about the final product. There are a bunch of stars out there with my name on them.
