Telltale’s episodic Tales of Monkey Island series is continuing along at its monthly pace, and episode four will be available for PC gamers this Friday, October 30. I can’t believe that Tales is on the fourth chapter already; it seems like only yesterday Telltale announced it. Anyway, with an ominous name like The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood, it sounds like this month’s adventure is going to put the swashbuckling hero in a spot of trouble. Also, between you and me, Elaine is looking a little sickly.

With this season nearing its end, I’m left to wonder what the future holds for Guybrush, and the series as well. I’m hoping that Tales of Monkey Island will eventually be sold in a bundle, like Sam & Max, because quite frankly, just one episode is never enough. There’s no date yet on when The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood will hit WiiWare, but based on past release dates I would guess next Monday or the Monday after that. Happy pirating!
