Ahoy, Monkey Island fans! The next episode of Telltale’s piratey adventure, Tales of Monkey Island, will arrive on PCs August 20, a mere 13 days from now. This perfectly keeps with the developer’s promised “one episode a month” schedule, and should fill that aching void in your heart that’s been present since you finished both Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal and The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition. Yes, you know the void is there, just admit it.

Sadly, the WiiWare version won’t launch the same day, but Telltale promised that Wii owners wouldn’t have long to wait; again, that’s a promise they kept with the first episode, so I have no reason not to believe them. Looks like the last days of summer will be filled with swashbuckling adventure.
