Telltale Games Wants to Blow Your Mind With Forthcoming Project
This Can Only Be Good
by Sarah

Telltale Games is pretty much my hero right now. In addition to successfully resurrecting the point-and-click adventure genre, the developer has also shown the industry what episodic gaming should be, and brought back the Sam & Max and Monkey Island series, which would have been seen as impossible just a few years ago. Now the busy bees at Telltale are trying to figure out what to do next, as revealed in an interview with Shacknews.
Telltale's Dan Connors had this to say when asked about upcoming projects:
"We're currently, we've got product in production right now that we've been talking about but we haven't really set a release date to. Everything else, we're just ....we're out in the streets, sort of talking around to different folks to figure our franchises that make real good sense for a May-June timeframe. Hopefully we'll pull something in that'll blow everybody's mind. We're pretty excited about the people we're talking to, so hopefully we'll have a pretty huge announcement here soon."
Um... holy crap! Telltale already blew my mind TWICE, once when they brought back Sam & Max and again this summer with their big Monkey Island news. It should be fairly obvious what franchise I'm hoping is resurrected next, but the truth is, even if it's not another classic LucasArts property, Telltale has proven to be a fantastic developer, and whatever they have in store will likely be great.
Now, if we could just get some news about Sam & Max Season Three, that would be fantastic.
