The Beatles: Rock Band to Launch on 09.09.09
I Read the News Today, Oh Boy

Finally! After being announced last year, The Beatles: Rock Band (which we were previously told would not be a Rock Band game, but whatever) finally has a release date: September 9, 2009. That’s actually a bit earlier than I expected, which is most certainly good news. I couldn’t be much more excited about this game. It will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, and will allow gamers to use the guitar, bass, mic, and drums to get the Beatles experience. I guess that means those rumors about additional instruments are out for now.
Now for the bad news: limited edition bundles (the game and instruments designed for it) will sell for a whopping $250. Damn. I love the Beatles, but that price may be a bit over my head. Standalone guitars for the game will retail for $100, and the game itself (which will probably be the way I go, since it should be compatible with the Rock Band instruments I already have) will go for the standard $60. I expect more details to start trickling in shortly, so we’ll keep you posted.

Will the guitars be classic Beatles Rickenbackers? That might be worth the price tag.
Also, are they adding a second guitar part for George? Lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, drums, and vocal. That would be cool.
Come on Rock Band. Don't let me down.....
um... $250... Really?! do the new instruments play the game for you or something?
They should force you to play lefty if you're on bass.
Yeah.. I feel like $250 is a high price point, unless the instruments are faithful recreations of the ones the Fab Four used.
I don't care how much it costs. I want it regardless! I don't have Rock Band at all, so I don't think I'd mind splurging for a Beatles pack... since y'know... they are one of the best music acts ever.
