Joining BioShock 2, Wolfenstein, MAG (maybe), and a handful of other games, Sega announced today that Bayonetta, previously slated for a September release, wouldn’t be out until early next year. Oh noes! I do have some good news, though, if you live in Japan: Bayonetta will be out October 29 overseas. That does absolutely nothing for me or the rest of Gamervision HQ, but I guess at least Japan has something to be happy about.

This seems to be the time of year when we find out which previously announced holiday season games won’t be able to make it out before year’s end, so this probably won’t be the last high-profile game delay. As long as The Beatles: Rock Band, Brütal Legend, Left 4 Dead 2, and Uncharted 2 make it out, I won’t complain… too much. I just wouldn’t be me without a little bit of complaining.
