In case for some reason you're not aware, Rock Band 2 comes out for the Xbox 360 TODAY! PS3 and Wii owners will be getting their copies in coming months, but Harmonix is doing the launch right with a whole bunch of DLC for everyone. First off is Megadeth's Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? album, except for the title song, which appears in the game. If that's not good enough, you also get four songs from bands appearing on the Rock Band Tour, which kicks off later this year.

While I have no real desire to rock out to Megadeth, Dashboard Confessional, or any of the bands featured this week, I know a lot of fans out there will be happy. I want to commend Harmonix for continually putting out DLC throughout the lifespan of the first Rock Band and into Rock Band 2. To put it bluntly, you guys rock.

The Megadeth album is $10.99, with songs going for 2 bucks a pop. The Rock Band Tour songs, however, are only 99 cents for a limited time (one month), so I suggest you move quickly if you plan on buying any of those.
