So, in what is possibly the best news in the history of mankind, Harmonix has announced that this week’s Rock Band downloadable content will be one song. But that’s okay, because it’s the song we’ve all been waiting for: “Still Alive”. Even better, it’s going for the awesomely low price of ZERO MICROSOFT POINTS. Yes, that’s right—absolutely free!

Unfortunately, because tomorrow also happens to be April 1, I’m going to have to remain a little skeptical about this news. It’s on the Rock Band forum and all, so it seems pretty official, but you never know. Sadly for PS3 owners, because of the work Sony is doing with the PlayStation Store redesign right now, this won’t be available for a few more weeks. Xbox 360 owners, you will hopefully be able to download this on April Fool's Day. Our contact at Harmonix had this to say about whether or not this was a joke: "Haha, I'll guess you'll have to see tomorrow..."
