Man alive! I’ve been waiting for this a long time. Let’s step into the way-back machine for a minute here. It’s spring 2007, and Official Xbox Magazine tells me that Tron, the awesome arcade game based on the classic Disney movie, is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade. The internets confirm this news with screenshots and previews. And then? NOTHING! It’s almost one year later, and still no Tron on the Xbox Live Arcade.



Until tomorrow! Supposedly. According to House of Xbox, Tron will finally be arriving on the Arcade Wednesday morning. Not only will the original arcade game be available, but there will also be an enhanced version that allows for two-player action, along with better graphics and sound.

Now, I can’t help but take this news with a grain of salt. I certainly don’t want to check the arcade tomorrow, not find the game, and be disappointed all over again. However, I’m totally psyched to see Tron in the news again. At least I know it hasn’t completely fallen off the face of the earth.
