I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one surprised by how much fun the cooperative sections in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves were. Don’t get me wrong, I had high hopes for the game, but having separate co-op levels seemed a bit silly when they were first announced. After beating the game, though, I was happy to see those familiar faces again, and it was refreshingly entertaining to play with a couple of friends. Speaking about the potential of future downloadable content, Naughty Dog president Evan Wells stated that co-op DLC might be possible in the future… but only if the community really wants it.

Wells said that while Naughty Dog would obviously like to deliver more narrative moments that shine through in the co-op play, “it's a much, much bigger investment of time because we have to do a lot of motion capture with the actors and record a lot of voices.” Because of the extra work involved, Naughty Dog needs to communicate with gamers and find out if there is “the proper demand for it.”

I know I, for one, would be willing to pay for some more co-op levels in Uncharted 2. What about the rest of you? Would you be down for some DLC to expand the cooperative experience?
