Upcoming LittleBigPlanet DLC is Way Too Cute

Look, it's a Freakin' Shark!

by Sarah

Aw, man! I really had no intention of paying for any LittleBigPlanet DLC, as much as I love the game. A few bucks a costume just seems a little too expensive for my tastes, especially when I still have plenty of things to collect within the actual game. However, this screen from the Japanese LittleBigPlanet site, found via PS3 Fanboy, is making me rethink that policy. The site has detailed some forthcoming DLC to be released in Japan, and, not surprisingly, it’s sickeningly cute. And it’s not even the penguin and lizard costumes that are getting to me, adorable as they are. No, it’s because there’s a Sackboy wearing a shark. A shark. Sony and Media Molecule must know that sharks are my weakness! How can I resist?

I may be getting ahead of myself here, as there hasn’t even been an announcement about this new content being released in the U.S. anytime soon. Still, there’s no reason to think that it wouldn’t be made available in other regions of the world at some point. Also, since I can’t read Japanese or know how to convert yen into dollars, I have no idea what any of these would cost. If you ask me, I would like them to be free, but that’s just a personal preference.
