When news of Valkyria Chronicles 2 broke the other day, I could barely believe it. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the first one and was hoping for a sequel, but with lagging sales I didn’t expect it to happen so soon (and especially not on the PSP). These screens, however, prove that this game really does exist, and though the PSP sequel will obviously lack the graphical capabilities of the PS3, it still looks like Valkyria Chronicles.

I’m still torn about this game being on the PSP, mainly because near the end of the first game, battles started to get really long, with some clocking in around two hours; sure, you could save in the middle of them, but that can mess up your rhythm and doesn’t really lend itself well to gaming on the go. That being said, if this game comes to North America (and it better!) it’s a definite purchase for me, I can’t wait to get back on the Gallian battlefield.
