Valkyria Chronicles Producer Says Sequel Possible
In Japan, Yes. Elsewhere, Who Knows
by Sarah

As I’ve been saying for months, Valkyria Chronicles is an amazing PS3 strategy game that didn’t get nearly enough attention in North America or Europe. Japan agrees with me, though, since VC is already a Greatest Hits title over there, as well as getting an anime series. Does that mean it’s time to talk sequel yet? Maybe, says producer Nonaka Ryutaro. In a recent issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu, Ryutaro expressed “great interest” in making a sequel, according to PS3 Kombo. However, if a sequel does come out, it may only be in Japan, which is sad for the few Valkyria Chronicles fans all over the world.
Of course, Ryutaro’s interest doesn’t actually confirm that a sequel is happening, nor does it guarantee that the game would only be released in Japan. Despite anemic sales outside of Japan, I’m going to be optimistic and hope that a Valkyria Chronicles sequel would be released in North America. In the meantime, I guess I’ll stick to the upcoming DLC to keep me happy.

i am really hoping this does get a sequel and it does come stateside. I still firmly believe that if SEGA would take the time to add trophies, this game could see a nice boost of Sales in the United States.
Please!
Sweet, cuz I loved the first one. I hope that they do.
