The first day of Wizard World Philly has come and gone, and all we've got to show for it is a whole lot of pictures and swag. Just kidding, Day One went great! Here's some of the stuff we saw today, as well as what we blew our paychecks on.

We started the day waiting outside of the convention hall until they let us in at noon on the dot. Apparently the press doesn't get in early around these parts! While standing impatiently in the hall, we caught a glimpse of what was inside.

After making the initial rounds, we took in the first panel of the day: Mondo MARVEL. You can read all about that here.

Immediately following the panel, writer Duane Swierczynski was nice enough to give us an interview. More on that to come later over at TheQuarterbin.

Speaking of interviews, here's Luke (also known as 00.19) with Ron Marz, who spoke with TheQuarterbin earlier this week about his upcoming projects. Ron agreed to take a picture for us despite the fact that Luke was wearing a Dodgers cap. Thanks, Ron!

After skipping out on the $6 personal pizzas and $4 bottles of water to go to Wawa and get some lunch, we got to talk to some of the artists showing off their work on Artist Alley. We may be checking out some more artists later in the weekend.

Then it was time for the DC Nation panel, which you may have read about over here.

In between all of that, we browsed the floor and picked up some new toys. The rest of the guys at Gamervision are gonna be so jealous!
