Xbox Live Arcade Update 01.25.10

KrissX is Still Alive

by Sarah

You know what doesn't instill my confidence in an Xbox Live Arcade game? When even Major Nelson doesn't know anything about it. That seems to be the case with this week's KrissX. I did find some information about it in an old press release, which you'll find below, but it appears that what you see is what you get: it's basically a bunch of crossword puzzles with a nice presentation. Not a bad timekiller, but 800 seems a bit steep to me.

Now this is something I can get on board with. I literally just said to someone yesterday that I had considered buying Portal: Still Alive with all of the Microsoft monopoly money I got for Christmas, but fifteen bucks seemed a bit much for a game I'd already played through (and own) several times, even with the extra levels. I figured that ten dollars was probably the breaking point for me. Ask and you shall receive, because Portal: Still Alive is the deal of the week at 800. Consider it bought.

It would be nice if existing owners of The Orange Box can get those new challenge maps as an add on.
