Angry Birds Finally Coming to PSN

The World Domination is Nearly Complete

by Sean

Since its release in late 2009, Angry Birds has consistently been the best-selling game for just about every device it's available for. Whether you're talking about the iTunes App Store or the Anroid Marketplace, people can't seem to get enough of those little fowl busting up the lives of the thieving pigs. Rovio, the game's Finnish developer, promised in November that the game would be ported to each current gen system, and today we got word that the PlayStation will be getting it first. A posting on the PS Blog has announced that Angry Birds will make its debut on the PSN beginning tomorrow when the store updates.

The game will be part of the PlayStation Minis, meaning that it's compatible for both PS3 and PSP. No price has been revealed as of yet, but chances are it won't be much more than five dollars (it's 99 cents on iPhone/iPad/Android). All of the game's 63 levels will be playable, although it's not clear if the recently added Mighty Eagle upgrade bird will be there. If you haven't had a chance yet to experience the crazy-addictive fun that is Angry Birds, tomorrow will open up one more place you can try it out.
