Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts Getting DLC Pack
Bonus: DLC Pack Gets a Trailer
by Sean
Last November, Microsoft Game Studios teamed up with Rare to bring both Banjo and Kazooie, everyone's favorite bird and bear team, to the Xbox 360. The game was Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, and although many fans of the series were upset by the lack of good platforming (a hallmark of the franchise), overall game scores were good, and most people agreed that it was a fun gaming experience.
Today we get word that a pack of downloadable content will be coming to Nuts & Bolts beginning on April 7th. The pack is called the L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges, and for 400
will bring a host of new game modes, new challenges, a whole new arena, 250 new achievement points, and the promise of "more Klungo" (which I'm almost positive means something to someone).
The DLC pack will also include blueprints for seven new vehicles, created by players of the game. The team at Rare selected the seven designs as the winners of a fan vehicle contest, and include winners from the US, Japan, and Canada.
To celebrate the announcement of the DLC, Microsoft has dropped a trailer and some screens into our lives. Take a look:
And here are those screens:
While I'm not sure how many people are still playing BK:N&B, it's nice to know that in today's economy, we can still get more Klungo.
