Barack Obama to Appear in Madden 11
Hail Mary to the Chief?
by Sean

Winning the Super Bowl in a Madden football game has always been something of a letdown. You can spend weeks playing through the pre-season, regular season, and the playoffs only to get to the big game. Then you win, and there are some confetti cannons fired off, and maybe balloons in your team's colors, but that's really it. After that, you're taken back to the team menu where you can try all over again. But this year, EA has decided to up the stakes a little bit. Instead of a lackluster ho-hum celebration, the game will give you a full suite of celebratory activities.
You can see what it looks like when the Saints win the title in this video (via IGN):
Yes folks, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama, the most loved and hated president since George W. Bush has finally made it into a video game, as your team will get to visit the White House. You can also see that the Lombardi trophy will be presented to the winning team by the real life NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Additionally each team will have a custom end wrap-up voice-over provided by in-game play-by-play man Gus Johnson. And at this point I have probably reached my quota on Madden articles. I'd apologize, but I think it's pretty clear that I'm psyched for the game.
