Eidos has released the details today on the collector's edition for their upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum. Fans of the Dark Knight have pretty good reason to get excited by this pack, as it comes with some really awesome Bat-llectibles (no? how about Bat-orabilia?). The collector's edition will include:
• 14" Batarang with stand
o Matches the Batarang’s in-game design
• Arkham Doctor’s Journal
o 48 pages of notes on Arkham’s inmates
o Embossed leather dust jacket
• 2 Sleeve Digi-pack, including:
o Game disc
o Behind-the-scenes DVD
• Code for downloadable Challenge Map
o Exclusive “Crime Alley” map, available immediately
• Full-color Manual
I normally don't go in for the overpriced collector's editions, but this one may end up on my shelf. First of all, that Batarang alone may be worth the $100, but even beyond that, the doctor's journal looks incredible, and I don't think I've made a big secret for my love of a nice full color instruction manual. I may just preorder this. Anyone else thinking the same way?

the batarang is cool, but where would you keep it? you need the entire toolbelt or it's useless, USELESS I SAY!
