Comic actor Andy Dick, who made a name for himself as the nerdy Matthew on the television show NewsRadio, has announced via his blog, that his likeness will shortly be added to the PSN game PAIN. Although Dick is more recently known for televised meltdowns and and on-again-off-again-on-again relationship with substances (supposedly off-again now), both he and the game's producers must have realized how much animosity there is toward him, and are ready to cash in on that hatred.

From Dick's blog:

"basically, i screamed for two hours. if you have ever had the urge to beat my scrawny, lily-white ass, now you can, literally… virtually."

Granted, most days I would tell you that I would pay good money to watch Andy Dick be repeatedly and horrifically pummeled. However, if you watch the video of Andy recording the vocal tracks, you'll see that while it may be great to watch him being abused, listening to his screeching, banshee-song of a voice complain about it is a form of torture even Dick Cheney would eschew.

There's no official word yet as to when Mr. Dick will be added to PAIN, nor on how much he'll cost, but we'll keep you posted.
