CSI: Deadly Intent Demo Available on Xbox 360

Fans of overexposed television franchises have reason to celebrate today, as Microsoft has announced that a demo for CSI: Deadly Intent has hit the Xbox Live Arcade. The game, which comes out tomorrow, puts players in the shoes of the Las Vegas-based investigative unit that made the show so popular in the first place. Gameplay in the demo will fall in line with the other games in the franchise, with your time being split between finding evidence, looking for clues, interviewing witnesses, and grilling suspects. For Deadly Intent, Ubisoft has added "new technology", which means mini-games allowing for DNA and microscope analysis.

Honestly I'm not exactly sure who is playing the CSI games in such large numbers that Ubi keeps cranking them out. The game franchise in general strikes me as little more than an HD version of Phoenix Wright, with the added bonuses of licensed voice actors.
