Win One of the Top 100 Horror/Sci-Fi Movies as Picked by Team Dead Space

Ever since the first announcement of Dead Space, lo these eight months ago, the team over at EA has been anything but subtle in letting gamers know that they were basing the horror-survival shooter off of their own favorite horror movies. Titles like Alien, The Thing, Predator, and tons more have been bandied about as artisitic influences, much to the delightful anticipation of we eager players.
With Dead Space's October release coming ever closer, it would appear that Team Dead Space has switched from the influence stage to full-on production, as they have announced a giveaway of "100 of their top Horror and Sci-Fi picks of all time".
Some personal highlights for me (well, in all honesty, they're all awesome movies!!) on the list are: 12 Monkeys, A Clockwork Orange, Metropolis, The Shining, Total Recall, Minority Report. Man... I could just go on and on! If you want a look at the full list yourself, click here.

why is it that sci-fi and horror are so often lumped together? i mean, sure, lots of horror movies revolve around aliens or scary not-human-things, but that doesn't make them strictly sci-fi, and there's a ton of sci-fi that doesn't involve scary stuff.
it just seems like both genres have enough to offer on their own without having to be combined.
I know before they use to have different sections now its all horror in video stores (Or is it dvd stores cause they don't sell video?) anyways I entered hope to win
