The newest trailer for Fairy Tale Fights gives us a glimpse into a magical world. An adorable world of wonder, a world of enchantment, a world where Little Red Riding Hood and the Emperor with No Clothes lay waste to pitchfork-wielding villagers with various implements of death and slice into gingerbread men who explode with gallons of gushing red blood. Walt Disney it ain't.

Although the game looks cute, fuzzy, and gory as all get out, it may be hard for Fairy Tale Fights to carve out a niche in an already crowded early-holiday market. Playlogic is shooting for an October 27th release for the hack-and-slash fest, which puts it in stores on the same day as Forza 3, Tekken 6, and DJ Hero. And as the game straddles the line between apparently kid-friendly graphics and over-the-top violence, it may be hard to pin down its audience.
