Fight Night Round 4 Gets a Round of DLC

Get It? Cause, You Know, Boxing has Rounds...?

by Sean

The Sweet Science just got a little bit sweeter, as EA has announced the first batch of DLC for Fight Night Round 4. And by "sweeter", I of course mean that new boxers have been added to the game. Beginning today you can now download Oscar De La Hoya, and brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko. Additionally, alternate versions of Geroge Foreman and James Toney are part of the new content.

Today also brings the game update that gamers have either been eagerly anticipating, or openly disdaining; allowing players to switch the control scheme off of the analog sticks to the face buttons. While for some (read: me) this will mean a vast improvement in my ability to actually play the game well, others (read: this guy) beileve it is akin to an unfair advantage.

While the button update is free, the new boxers will set you back $4.99 for your PS3 or 400 for your 360. If you haven't picked up FNR4 yet, there's also a demo featuring a 10 round match between Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali that should help to whet your appetite.
