Gran Turismo PSP Box Art and Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed
I Hope You Like Cars
by Sean

SCEA has unveiled the box art and detailed the pre-order bonuses that will be coming with the upcoming handheld driving simulator Gran Turismo for the PSP. The box art features the sleek looking Corvette ZR1, caught in the act of driving really fast and making a hard right hand turn. You can see a bunch of new screenshots of the ZR1 in the gallery, and they're totally worth checking out.
The pre-order bonus will give you access to one of five of the game's hottest cars in an exclusive color. The first, seen above, is the 2009 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 in the Black M color. This baby sports a 16-cylinder engine and four, count 'em FOUR, turbochargers capable of delivering 1000hp. Topping out at 254mph, it is the fastest production car in the world.

Second on the block is the 2002 Enzo Ferrari in Giallo Modena (yellow). Its 6.0 liter V-12 is perfect for driving really fast on a racetrack and blowing past your competition that didn't pre-order and are stuck with the starter Fiat.

Next up is the more-than-impressive-looking 2008 GTbyCitroen in yellow. This concept car was specifically created by Citroen as a tie-in for the Gran Turismo games and made its public debut at last year's Paris Auto Show. No specs are listed on it, but from the looks of it, it has some pickup.

In the penultimate place is the 2009 Nissan GT-R Spec V in metallic blue. Described as "one of the hottest cars on the market right now", the GT-R Spec V boasts an in-dash multi-function meter designed by Polyphony Digital, the game's developer.

The final possibility for a pre-order bonus is the classic 1974 Lamborghini Countach LP400 in Arancio (orange). With this baby in your garage, you'll be ready to take on Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise during this year's big Cannonball Run.
Unfortunately no word has been given as to which car you'll end up with if you pre-order. Sure, there's nothing wrong with any of them, but if I end up with an '09 Nissan instead of the world's fastest production car, I may be a little upset.
Be sure to stay tuned to Gamervision for some hands-on impressions from Coop, who recently got a chance to play GT PSP. Oh, here's that box art. Gran Turismo pulls onto the PSP beginning in October.
