Infinity Ward to Develop Call of Duty 6
Please, Please, Don't Let it Be Set During World War II

Treyarch Studios gets a lot of hater-ism directed in its general direction. It's not like Call of Duty 3 was a bad game, necessarily; but when compared to Infinity Ward's game of the year contenders CoD2 & CoD4, it certainly isn't all that great either. And while I don't know for a fact that World at War is going to be lousy, neither do I hold out much hope that it will match Modern Warfare.
Today I learned that there is hope on the horizon for fans of the FPS series. According to Kotaku, during an "analysts' day" conference call today, Activision Blizzard announced that the as of yet un-subtitlled Call of Duty 6 will be developed by Infinity Ward.
This isn't exactly earth-shattering news, as just around everyone assumed that Infinity Ward would take the franchise over again. That doesn't change the fact that this is indeed welcome news. In the meantime, raise your hand if you're still psyched for World at War.

i cant raise my hand, i have no interest in World at War and will wait for Call of Duty 6
I remember hearing something about Infinity Ward doing a sci-fi themed FPS. I'd be psyched if it was part of the Call of Duty franchise.
No confirmation as to whether or not CoD6 will be the confirmed sci-fi shooter, but then again, no denial either...
I would pay double for a CoD game based on Leonard 6.
Wait, isn't this old? I believe that the agreement between Infinity Ward and Activision was that they'd have the numbered CoD's and Treyarch gets the in-between subtitled ones.
So isn't this really Call of Duty 5?
