We are now less than two weeks away from the release of the highly anticipated PlayStation 3 exclusive shooter Killzone 2. Early reports from the demo are that this has the potential to be an incredible game. All well and good for anyone who pre-ordered, but what about the rest of you? Well, for those out there who really want to get into the Killzone 2 demo, but haven't gotten their hands on a pre-order code, there's good news this morning out of Sony. Starting tonight at around 6:00PM (Eastern... oops.. Pacific), when you log onto Home, there is a chance that you will see a familiar, if somewhat out of place, face. No, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you - that's a Helghast soldier.

If you happen to see a Helghast fighter, all you have to do is approach him and ask for a Killzone 2 demo key. If he has any left, he'll direct message it to you. Then it's just a matter of punching that code into the PlayStation Store and downloading the demo. You can then thank the Helghast for his generosity by attempting to destroy his home planet. It's the least you can do.

Chances are the demo codes will go quickly, so if you want one, you should get there quickly tonight. Killzone 2 will be out for the PS3 on February 27th.
