Market Analyst: Wii Fit Will Create Console Shortage
It's Brilliant Market Insight Like this that Stops Recessions!

Lazard Capital Markets Analyst Colin Sebastian is a prognosticator of a kind not seen since the days of the ancient prophets. In a statement given to GameDaily he makes some preditctions regarding the coming quarter of video game retail. Some of his forecasts, like a 35% increase in sales for March, are good news. The bad news is that he thinks that Nintendo's upcoming Wii Fit will create Wii shortages, stating, "retail channel checks continue to indicate tight supplies of the Wii; however, we believe Nintendo is likely increasing production above the last confirmed monthly rate." He further goes on to say that he anticipates that although Nintendo will increase Wii production, a weak dollar will keep a good number of those systems in non-American stores.
Whoa there, Nostradamus! You mean to tell me that in a few weeks it's going to be hard to get your hands on a Wii? Guess what? IT'S ALREADY NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A WII! The biggest part of the story of Nintendo's meh-xt-gen console is that no store can keep them in stock for more than fifteen minues. Don't get me wrong, the Wii Fit isn't going to make finding a Wii any easier. But it's not like they're exactly clogging the aisles right now anyway.
