That's Why Your Spidey-Sense was Tingling

That's right boys and girls, just a short two months after the game released, Activision has gotten around to releasing a demo for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. If you're wondering about the timing, you're probably not alone; the best guess is that sales for the game are lagging and Activision wants to give us all a free sample so we can decide whether or not to add this game to our holiday wish list.

There's no word as to what levels the demo unlocks, nor how many of the game's 24 playable heroes and villains are available. Chances are you'll probably play as some of the better known characters (i.e. Captain America, Iron Man, and Spider-Man) as opposed to some of the lesser-known ones from the Marvel Civil War (i.e. Penance, Luke Cage or Songbird). Generally seen as not much of a step forward for the series, the sequel released to mediocre reviews and not much fanfare. Who knows? Maybe the demo will be just the thing to push some of these game units off of store shelves.
