NASCAR Jumps into the Halo Fray
In the continuing campaign to put Halo 3 on every surface known to man, Microsoft has teamed up with Target and Chip Ganassi Racing to transform a NASCAR racer for this weekend's Nextel Cup race in Dover, Delaware.
The number 40 racer, driven by David Stremme, will be wrapped in a Halo motif, temporarily displacing the Target logo. Although there are still a couple of Bullseye logos... probably not the smartest thing to have bullseyes on yourself when you're fighting the epochal battle of our time...
Stremme was understandably excited by the prospect of having someone pay him:

"I'm honored and excited to be running the 'Halo 3' car at Dover and can’t wait to show off this awesome paint scheme. It's going to be a special experience when the car rolls off the truck for the first time at Dover – as a Halo fan, I'm thrilled."Anyway, I'm not the world's biggest NASCAR fan (I do love the crashes...), but I have been known to watch a race or two from time to time.
