EA has dropped a new trailer for Need for Speed: Shift today, this one featuring the real-world drivers who lent their help and expertise to the game to make the races as realistic as possible. As someone who isn't a fan of the Formula One race circuit, I will readily admit that I've never heard of a single one of these guys. That being said, it looks like they all enjoy driving very fast cars, and on racetracks too.

The end of the trailer lists a date of "01.08.09", which, in the States, would mean that the game has been out since the eigth of January. But, as this is a European trailer, it more likely means August 1st, which is still a little strange, since the current release date for NFS:S is in September. But it also reads "The Driver's Experience Begins", which has to be some kind of viral marketing, countdown nonsense. I guess we'll have to wait until, well, tomorrow, to find out.
