New Dante's Inferno Trailer is Très Bien!
Abandonner L'espoir, Vous Tous Qui Entrez Ici

Reading the announcement from this morning that confirmed that there will be a Dead Space 2 has gotten me into a Visceral state of mind. Although the company's roster of games is low (namely, exactly two IPs, and only two games released to date), my own personal excitement level for each of the studio's properties are high. So when I saw that there was a new trailer available for the upcoming Dante's Inferno, I couldn't help but get psyched. Even reading in the description that the video had French subtitles did little to harsh my buzz.
Upon watching the trailer, I realized that I didn't care one little bit about having to read a little Francais:
See, that wasn't so bad, was it? It's not like there is a whole lot of dialogue in the video to begin with, so you can't be too worked up about having to wade through pages of French text. Couple that with the fact that you just saw more cinematic elements of the game, especially before Dante's descent, than you've ever seen before, and you've got the makings of a good preview of the game. The scream of the fire-demon-thing at the end was enough to send some minor shivers up my spine, so I'm almost convinced that, at least in the realm of sound, Visceral has matched the bar set by Dead Space. With the demo coming to PSN this week, I won't have much longer to wait to see how good the full package will be.
