Ever since the dawn of time, humanity has searched for the answer to the eternal question: which high-end car is the best? Some argue for the Corvette, while others will tell you it's clearly a Porsche. And it's the kind of question that clearly could never be answered, right? WRONG! In the upcoming Need for Speed: Shift, mankind will finally be able to determine which vehicle is the greatest, using the game's "Car Battle" mode.

As you can see, "Car Battle" will just be two evenly matched stock cars, without modification or improvement, going head to head, in a fight to the finish line. Matching up 15 different pairings of cars, NFS:S will force drivers to put their skills to the test. With EA providing such definitive answers to the great mysteries of the universe, maybe we should put them on drafting a health care reform bill.
