NHL 10 Tough Guy Video
Zach Stortini Talks About Punching
by Sean

One of the most heralded changes for this year's NHL 10 has been the first-person fighting perspective. EA has made a big deal out of the revamped face-punching mechanic, and has assured us all it is as close as you'll get to real hockey without losing any teeth. And while the screenshots that have been released have shown us a few frames of the new game wrinkle, we've been lacking in any kind of endorsement from an NHL "enforcer" (fancy-speak for a guy who gets paid to punch people in the face). Well today EA has taken care of that, with the newest video for NHL 10.
In the video, Zach Stortini of the Edmonton Oilers talks about the various aspects surrounding fighting in hockey. He's asked when it's a bad time to fight (spoiler alert: he says never), he discusses the "culture" that surrounds the pugilistic areas of the game. And he seems pretty convinced that the game really does play like real hockey.
Take a look for yourself:
Good looking fella, isn't he? NHL 10 ships next week.
