NYCC 09: PAX East Dated
Gabe & Tycho Spill the Beans at NYCC
by Sean
Who isn't jealous of Coop, Sarah and 00.19 this weekend? While the rest of us are gearing up for the big Left 4 Dead Community Playdate, they're living the high life in New York City, taking in the sights and sounds of everything comic book and video game related. Sure, maybe working seventeen hour days while walking endless miles around the convention center floor isn't exactly the most relaxing way to spend a weekend, but at least they're getting time with some of the greatest games of 2009.
My jealousy reached a new level a few moments ago. Following Sarah's live coverage of the panel with Gabe & Tycho of Penny Arcade fame, I noticed this entry:
12:28 - PAX Boston, March 2010.
That would, by my count, mark the first time we've gotten the word straight from the horses' mouths. Sure, there has been rumor, speculation, and the listing on the PAX website, but there is something very satisfying about hearing the show's creators making it official. It's like writing something with a Sharpie - that's it, you can't take it back now!
Stay tuned to Gamervision for all the details for both PAX East and PAX Prime (the new name for the Seattle show). And be sure to check back on Monday to see whose stories of teamwork scored them a copy of Left 4 Dead.

huzzah east coast! boston is soooo much easier to get to than seattle. now if we could bring it south just a touch, say philly-area, i'd be satisfied. but i'll still make my way to mass. for this one.
Seriously about time the East Coast got some love. TY NYCC.
