Play NASCAR '09 with Queensrÿche

Usually, the content of the press releases that fill up my inbox are pretty standard. They're usually something like, "Game X will be released on date Y", or maybe "some downloadable content is being added to whatever title no one is playing anymore". On occasion, however, I get some press releases that fall outside of the normal realm, and cause me to scratch my head. Like this morning...
In one of the stranger attempts at capitalizing on overlapping audiences, the heavy/progressive metal band Queensrÿche will be jumping on Xbox Live to go head to head with Live Gold members for two different "Game with Fame" sessions on April 13th. From 4-5PM (ET) the rockers will be playing Halo 3, and then from 5-6 the game will literally shift gears to NASCAR '09. Perhaps by some cosmic coincidence, Queensrÿche happens to be promoting a new CD, the recently released American Soldier.
The band, who has sold over 20 million records sold worldwide, had plenty to say about their new record, but not much about Xbox, NASCAR, or anything other than the new record. Lead singer Geoff Tate said, ""The [recording] process started with a conversation with my Dad. He was a career military man, with the Marines in Korea and an Air Force tour of duty in Vietnam in '68. He had never talked about his experiences in war, and all my life I've been asking questions and waiting for the stories that I never heard. These past couple of years he started talking, and I taped one of the conversations. That was the beginning."
So, for any Queensrÿche fans out there (or any Halo 3 players who would love the chance to teabag an aging musical act), Monday will be your chance to fulfill your long held fantasies.
And now, just because you knew I had to, I present, Queensrÿche:
