PlayStation 3 Slim Passes 3 Million Sold
The Holiday Console War Is On
by Sean

Sony has a lot of stuff going on this week. With announcements about their motion controller, unveiling new PSPGo accessories, and a couple of games getting demos, TGS is looking like a Sony-centric show more so than in years past. Amongst all the other news comes the announcement that the PS3 Slim, Sony's newest sku, has already managed to sell 3 million units worldwide. That breaks down to 125,000 sold every single day since the September 1st launch.
This is definitely good news for the company, as prior PS3 skus were, to be kind about it, not selling incredibly well. Sony CEO Jack Tretton was pleased by the news, saying he, "couldn't be more optimistic about our fortunes for the rest of the year and for the future", adding, "it is conceivable that there will be product shortages".
Needless to say, with all three major console showing off new price points for the holiday season, it should be an interesting fourth quarter. Who will reign supreme? Only time will tell...

Anyway .... The Large One are better than the slim one .... the normal one are durable for more than 24hours playing while the slim one was not as lasting as that ....
