Reminder: Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo Available
The Patients Are Running the Asylum
by Sean

This is a reminder from me to you that the demo for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum is now available for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. The PS3 version went live with last night's PSN update, and the 360 added it to the Marketplace this morning. You'll play as the Caped Crusader as he fights his way into the notorious institution for the criminally insane, which has been taken over by the Joker.
I spent some time playing the PS3 demo last night, and while I'm not ready to call this one a game of the year contender, there are some really cool elements to the game. Batman's "cowl vision", which allows him to see enemies through walls, as well as the various grapple points in a room, is a really cool feature. And, well, since the demo is free, there's really no reason you shouldn't be downloading it right now.

Need to DL this tonight. Pretty sure this is going to make me preorder the game. Just need to figure this out. Is the Scarecrow challenge room worth $11 and do I need a batarang?
@shagino: I can't answer the question about the challenge room yet, but YES, YOU NEED A BATARANG.
Always say yes to batarangs.
Holy crap is that fun.
This game was real fun when I palyed it last night. Fighting system is real tight and makes for some cinematic encounters.
