Fall is just around the corner, and with it comes an annual tradition that is, depending on where you grew up, either what's great about America, or what's leading us down a path to destruction. That's right ladies and gentlemen, it's almost time for hunting season. I've lived all across this great nation of ours, and I can tell you that there are places where hunters and hunting season are looked down upon as some pre-evolved state of humanity, and I've been in places where schools will actually close because so many kids go out hunting with their parents. Either way, it's here to stay. And to help get ready (and sell games) Activision has added a demo to the Xbox Live for Cabela's Big Game Hunter.

The demo will have you visit five continents seeking to kill "the world's greatest trophy animals". During your adventures, you'll face dangerous prey, varying environments, and "more". The game is due to release on the 22nd of this month, and while I'm a bit curious as to what exactly is different in a hunting game from year to year (are this year's Kodiak bears projected higher in the hunting fantasy drafts?), I'm not sure I'll be checking this one out. Anyone interested?
