Reminder: Demo Available for Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes
Fight as a Jedi and a Clone Trooper
by Sean

Public Service Announcement: Xbox 360 owners can now download a demo for the as-yet-unreleased Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes. At just over 450MB, you won't need a ton of HDD space to play this one. The demo allows you to play as both a Jedi and a Clone Trooper in a totally new storyline. According to the official write-up on the Xbox 360 website, it would appear that the demo will support drop-in/drop-out co-op gameplay. There's no word as to whether or not that support is just local, or if it extends to online play, but my guess would be the former.
Once upon a time, gamers would jump all over the chance to play any Star Wars-based title, but that seems to be a distant memory. Personally, I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to try this one out, but with a long weekend coming up, maybe I'll try to squeeze it in. Chances are that PS3 owners will be able to get their mitts on Republic Heroes when the PlayStation Store update goes through tonight, so stay tuned. The game launches on October 6th.
