EA wanted to make sure you knew that the demo for this year's NHL game, cleverly titled NHL 10, is now available for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. And as if the press release reminding us that it's up wasn't enough, EA was kind enough to deliver a video highlighting the various (read: two) game modes that are playable in the demo.

The first featured mode is the "Create a Pro" game area, where you get to mess around with the game's character creation tools, and then improve your player in the skills challenge area in order to get picked earlier in the draft. The second playable game mode puts you in the third period of game 7 of last year's NHL Stanley Cup Finals between the Red Wings and the Penguins. You take over as either team in the third period, with the Pens ahead 2-0 and captain Sidney Crosby on the bench with an MCL sprain. Your job, according to the video, is to either "carry out history or change it".

Anyway, enough from me, watch the video and get the demo. Or don't. Whatever.
