Reminder: Resident Evil 5 Versus Mode Arrives Tomorrow

This is just a friendly reminder that Resident Evil 5 will be adding a new downloadable game mode called Versus tomorrow. While I normally am all about a good versus mode, I'm not convinced that the control scheme of RE5 makes it the best fit for this kind of gameplay.
PlayStation 3 owners can expect to pay $4.99 for Versus, while Xbox 360 owners will need to scrape together 400
. While some gamers may see this new mode something that could conceivably have been added as a free patch, Capcom thinks the price is right, as they promise that this will be "the most terrifying Versus mode to date".
Versus will come with two different game types, each of which will support up to four players. The first, called Slayer's Rule, is a point-based contest, that will pit players against wave after wave of Majinis. The second type, Surivor's Rule, will pit teams of two against one another in a timed match. Both modes will offer players the option to play as Chris, Sheva, or other secret characters.
Anyone out there planning to add Versus?

I just finished the regular story yesterday, and I'm dying to get into Mercenaries mode, but this... I don't know yet... Like, I love the game, but I don't think I would want to play this competitively.

i don't think the vesus looks interesting. It looks very western movie look, get in an alley, face each other and fire..
@Voyou: More like, get in an alley, stop moving, bring up the awkwardly slow aiming mechanic, face the enemy, make sure the enemy has stopped moving, open fire.
Meh, I'll spend the $5 on something else.
